At Salia Original Jewellery, we offer a wide and rich line of original hand-made jewellery and make every possible effort to create a quality finish on all our products.However, despite the high quality of our products, we recommend the following guidelines for the care and maintenanceyour Salia Original Jewellery pieces.

PEARLS

• Keep your pearl jewelleryseparate from other jewelleryto avoid scratching and rubbing.
• Your pearls should not come into contact with salt water, water, soap or varioussprays such asperfume, deodorant,hair spray etc.
• To avoidpossible wear and tear and undue stress on your pearls, do not wear whileshowering, in bed or during physical exercise.
• To keepthe lustre and shine on your pearls,we recommend that you use adry cotton cloth to gentlyclean them.

SEMI-PRECIOUS STONES

• Each piece ofjewellery should be kept separate to prevent scratching and rubbing.This especially applies to any highly polished or facetted stones.
• Jewellery should not come in contact with salt water, water, soap or various sprays suchas hair spray, perfume, deodorant etc.
• One should never wear their jewellery in the bathtub, shower, in bed or during physical exercise.This may put stress on the jewellery, with possible wear and tear.
• It is recommended that jewellery be cleaned with a dry cotton cloth to preserve the freshness and the shine of the product.

STERLING SILVER

• Keep each piece of your jewellery separate to avoid any scratching and rubbing.
• Sterling silver should not come in contact with salt water, water, soap or various sprays such as hair spray, perfume, deodorant etc.
• Avoid possible wear and tear on your sterling silver jewellery by not wearing it in the shower, in bed, or during physical exercise.
• Use a good quality silver cloth to polish your sterling silver tokeep it clean and shiny.

Please remember that although we take the utmost care in the manufacture of our jewellery, it is handmade, and needs to be treated with care.If you have followed our care advise and your piece of jewellery needs re-stringing in the first 6 months, we are more than happy to repair it at no cost to you.We also advise that if you wish to wear your piece on a regular basis, that you consider regular re-stringing with a small cost involved.(For hygiene reasons, earrings cannot be refunded or exchanged)
